Amy Friedrichs has worked in education for nearly 20 years, both internationally and in the United States. She received her B.A. in International Studies from the College of William and Mary and her M.A. in curriculum design from the Teachers College at Columbia University. She is also a Martin County Master Gardener, Water Ambassador and credentialed Waters Center systems thinking facilitator.

Amy has been a Florida certified K-6 teacher since 2012 and the Green School Coordinator at Bridges Montessori since 2014, where she developed curricula to incorporate garden education, food preparation, service-learning, and systems thinking into the classroom.

As a 2019 Environmental Stewardship Award Nominee, Amy continuously works to inspire others to be curious, to think critically, and to positively influence the world around them.
